Economics Times on October 30, 2018, captioned " Competition Commission of India
approves IHH Healthcare''s acquisition of Fortis.'
In this regard, it is clarified that the application to the Competition Commission of India
('CCI') has been made by the investor - namely Northern TK Venture Pte. Ltd, Singapore
('NTK') (the entity to whom the proposed issuance of shares shall be made) and not by
Fortis Healthcare Limited ('FHL').
While we understand from NTK that they have received the approval from CCI, however
detailed order is still awaited.
Accordingly, it is clarified that such detailed order has not been made available by the CCI
and that, as a consequence, FHL has not formally made a disclosure to the stock exchange
under the terms of Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing
Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations 2015. FHL shall make such disclosures
as are necessary upon the receipt of the necessary information from NTK.
We will keep the stock exchanges updated/informed in terms of Regulation 30 of the SEBI
(Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
