This is in continuation to our earlier letter dated May 8, 2018, wherein we had informed that the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax has issued a Show Cause Notice dated May 3, 2018 (SCN) under section 279(1) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, launching prosecution proceedings for the assessment year 2009-10.
In this regard, we wish to inform you that today the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi on an application filed by the Company directed the Income Tax Department not to take any action against the Company till May 21, 2018, when the appeals for assessment year 2009-10 are listed for hearing before the Hon'ble Delhi High Court.
You are requested to take the information on record.
