Pursuant to the Public Announcement dated February 06, 2018 (the 'Public Announcement') and the Letter of Offer dated February 28, 2018 (the 'Letter of Offer'), the Tendering Period for the Buyback opened on Wednesday, March 07, 2018 and closed on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.
In accordance with the provisions of Regulation 12 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Buy Back of Securities) Regulations, 1998, as amended (the 'Buyback Regulations'), this is to inform you that the Company has extinguished 87,66,720 fully paid up Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each (in dematerialised form). A copy of the letter dated March 28, 2018 of National Securities Depository Limited confirming extinguishment of shares is enclosed herewith, for your kind reference and record.
In accordance with the provisions of Regulation 19 (4) of the Buyback Regulations, the details of the Equity Shares bought back by the Company during the Tendering Period and extinguished is enclosed.
