| Exchange Received Time 20/09/2018 17:22:00 Exchange Disseminated Time 20/09/2018 17:22:05 Time Taken 00:00:05 | We refer to our letter dated 18th September, 2015 w.r.t. the setting up of paint manufacturing facilities in the Southern States of the Country, wherein Asian Paints Ltd had informed the Stock Exchanges that the Company was proposing to set up a paint manufacturing plant at Mysuru district, in the state of Karnataka with an ultimate capacity of 6 (six) lakh KL p.a. to be implemented in a phased manner at an approximate cost of Rs. 2300 crores at the then prevailing prices.
We wish to inform you that today the commercial production of paints and intermediaries has successfully commenced at the Mysuru plant, Karnataka. The initial capacity of the said manufacturing facility is 3 (three) lakh KL p.a.
