The following items were inter alia approved by the Board:
a.Closing down of Balmer Lawrie (UK) Ltd, a wholly owned foreign subsidiary of the Company, by way of carrying out its voluntary winding up as per the laws of United Kingdom. The main activities carried out by the said subsidiary was discontinued long back. The only activity carried out by the said subsidiary was holding investments of USD 2.01 Million i.e. 50% shares in an Indonesian joint venture and is having USD 3.26 Million as cash at bank.
