| Exchange Received Time 04/05/2018 16:32:14 Exchange Disseminated Time 04/05/2018 16:32:16 Time Taken 00:00:02 | In compliance to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, it is to inform that NHPC had filed a petition with CERC vide Petition No. 20/TDL/2018 dated 10.01.2018 for grant of Category-I license for interstate trading in Electricity in whole of India. CERC vide its order dated 23.04.2018 has decided to issue a Category-I license to NHPC for interstate trading in Electricity in whole of India.
In view of the aforesaid order of CERC, NHPC would be able to undertake interstate trading in electricity across the Country. Accordingly, NHPC is exploring various trading options. NHPC is also in the process of obtaining the membership of Power Exchange and registration in the DEEP e-bidding portal as a Trader.
