| Exchange Received Time 14/08/2018 11:31:23 Exchange Disseminated Time 14/08/2018 11:31:33 Time Taken 00:00:10 | | This is to inform the Exchange that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (h) of sub-section (3) of section 9 of The Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970, read with clause (b) of sub-paragraph(2) of paragraph 9 of the Nationalised Banks ( Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970, the Central Government hereby re-nominates Shri Thothala Narayanasamy Manoharan (DoB: 7.4.1956) as Part Time Non-Official Director on the Board of Directors of Canara Bank for a term of two years with effect from 14.8.2018, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, and extends his appointment as non-executive Chairman of the Bank's Board for the said period, vide Notification No. F.No.8/4/2018-BO.I dated 13th August 2018 of Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. |
