| Exchange Received Time 12/11/2018 15:03:32 Exchange Disseminated Time 12/11/2018 15:03:38 Time Taken 00:00:06 | Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and in furtherance to intimation made on November 1, 2018, we hereby intimate that Environment Pollution (Prevention & Control) Authority ('EPCA') for the National Capital Region ('NCR') issued directions dated November 10, 2018 in furtherance to earlier notice dated October 27, 2018, pertaining to the rising pollution levels in NCR. The said directions inter-alia provide that ''Ban on industries using coal and biomass, including brick kilns. This ban does not include power plants and waste to energy plants' till November 12, 2018. A copy of the said directions is attached for easy reference.
As a responsible corporate, the Company is fully committed to the community and compliant with applicable laws. Therefore, in compliance with the aforementioned directions issued by EPCA, the Company has shut down its Ballabgarh plant situated at Faridabad, Haryana till today i.e. November 12, 2018. |
