This is continuation to our below mentioned communication(s) submitted earlier: letter dated April 3, 2018, wherein we had informed that the Writ Petition filed by the Company before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi (the Court) challenging the demand order of Rs. 429 crores from the Income Tax Department (Tax Department) for the assessment year 2009-10, will come up for hearing on April 16, 2018; and letter dated April 9, 2018, wherein we had informed that the Writ Petition filed by the Company before the Court against the Order of the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, rejecting the application for stay of penalty demand and directing the Company to pay Rs.131.04 crores, for assessment year 2009-10, will come up for hearing on April 16, 2018. In this regard, we wish to inform you that the above matter(s) have been adjourned to May 21, 2018 at the request of the Tax Department and they have verbally assured the Court that no recovery would be made till the next date of hearing.
