This is in continuation to our earlier letter dated November 7, 2017 wherein we had informed that the Company had filed a Writ Petition before the Hon'ble High Court of Bombay against rejection of application(s) for condonation of delay by SEBI vide its letter dated August 23 and August 31, 2017 and thereby returning the settlement application(s) dated March 21, 2017 and July 24, 2017 respectively.
In this regard we wish to inform you that the Company has come across certain news items stating that SEBI has imposed a fine of INR 10 lacs on the Company and INR 3 lacs each on certain executives of the Company for certain delayed disclosures under the Listing Agreement and the Insider Trading Regulations. Thereafter, the Company checked SEBI's website for the said order and found that SEBI has passed an order on March 16, 2018 in the matter of the show cause notice dated 20.08.2015 while the said Writ Petition is still pending before the Hon'ble High Court of Bombay. However, till now the Company has not formally received any such communication from SEBI imposing the said fines. If and as when, any such communication is received, the Company will obtain appropriate legal advice thereon.
