| Exchange Received Time 29/05/2018 07:17:25 Exchange Disseminated Time 29/05/2018 07:17:28 Time Taken 00:00:03 | In continuation to the letters dated 10.06.16 & 02.08.16, whereby the Company had informed that one of subsidiary-EHIRCL had received an order dated 9.6.2016 from DHS for the recovery of Rs. 5033652824 on account of unwarranted profit allegedly made by it by not complying with the conditions of allotment letter/ lease deed pursuant to the judgement dated 22.03.07 of Delhi HC. A writ petition was filed before HC-Delhi challenging the Order dated 9.6.2016. Subsequently, vide order dated 1-8-2016 HC-Delhi set aside the demand and the matter was remanded to the Special Committee for hearing.
EHIRCL has informed that the Office of the Special Committee vide order dated 28-5-2018 has directed it to deposit an amount of Rs. 503, 36, 52, 824/- in the account of the Delhi Government in favour of Director General of Health Services within a month of receiving this order. EHIRCL is in the process of evaluating available legal recourse as may be advised in this regard |
