| Exchange Disseminated Time 11/05/2018 17:37:22 | The New India Assurance Company Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 11, 2018, inter alia, has considered the following matters:
1. Issue of bonus shares in proportion of 1:1 (i.e.1 new bonus equity share of Rs. 5 each for every 1 equity shares of Rs. 5 each held), subject to approval of the shareholders.
2. Recommendation of final dividend of Rs. 5 per equity share of face value of Rs. 5 each on the present equity shares of the company. The total dividend (Interim + Final) of the Company for the year 2017-18 would be Rs. 8.75 per equity share, subject to the approval of final dividend by Shareholders.
The Final dividend per share would be Rs. 2.50 per share, if the AGM of the Company is held after the allotment of Bonus Shares. |
