Attention of the Trading Members is drawn to SEBI circular no. MRD/DoP/SE/Dep/Cir-14/2007 dated December 20, 2007 and circular no. SMD/POLICY/SL/Cir-09/07 dated May 07, 1997 wherein SEBI has advised that the clients dealing in Securities Lending and Borrowing (SLB) Segment of the Exchange are required to be registered with the Exchange.
In this connection, the members are hereby informed that the registration of the SLB clients will be available in the existing UCC system, which is currently being used for registering the clients for Equity and Derivatives, i.e., www.bsewebx.co.in/admin. The procedure for registering the SLB client is same as that of the Equity and Derivative clients.
For registering the SLB clients in the UCC system :
§ In case of the Non-Institutional Clients, client code must be PAN.
§ In case of the Institutional Clients, client codes will be the same as allotted by the Exchange.
An updated and detailed UCC User Manual Version 2.0 is available for download in the Dload32 option “UCC User Manual Ver-2”. The same is also available in the www.bsewebx.co.in/admin site once the member logs on to the system.
Members of the exchange are hereby informed that the above mentioned changes will come into effect in the UCC system with effect from January 31, 2008.
