Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) vide circular SEBI/HO/MRD/DSA/CIR/P/2016/110 dated October 10, 2016 has provided following two options to Exclusively Listed Companies (ELCs) of De-recognized / Non-operational / exited Stock Exchanges placed in the Dissemination Board (DB). Upon exercising these two options successfully and subject to the Designated Stock Exchanges being satisfied the names of the ELCs would be removed from the DB.

SEBI has now issued circular SEBI/HO/MRD/DSA/CIR/P/2017/5 dated January 05, 2017 extending the period, till March 31, 2017, for submitting the plan of action.
