This is in continuation of the Exchange notices no. 20200701-27 dated July 01, 2020 regarding the Guidelines for Offer for Sale through the Stock Exchange Mechanism.
Trading Members and Custodians are requested to note that in the Offer for Sale (OFS) mechanism currently the Exchange allows retail investors to place their price bids (on T+1 day) at floor price or above floor price. However, in terms of applicable OFS guidelines, allocation can be done to retail investors based on the cut-off price determined in the non-retail category (on T day) only. The price bids from retail investors below the cut-off price of non-retail category are not considered for allocation.
Since allocation to retail investors is based on the cut-off price determined in the non-retail category and their price bids below the cut-off price are not considered for allocation, the Exchange will not allow the placing of price bids by retail investors (on T+1 day) below the cut-off price determined in the non-retail category on T Day with immediate effect.
Trading Members are requested to bring the same to the notice of retail investors also.
