 MFIs /MFDs /RIAs are hereby informed that additional fields have been incorporated in the existing order entry modules of Normal Order and Spread Order on BSE StAR MF Platform.

The below mentioned six additional fields shall be applicable for Lumpsum order entry (Normal and Spread) for Purchase and Redemption. The same are appended at the end of the existing order upload structure

·         PG/Bank Reference No. (Reference Id to be used for tagging funds with respective order/s)

·         Bank Account No. (Investor’s bank account number entered while client registration on BSE StAR MF)

·         Filler 1

·         Filler 2

·         Filler 3

·         Filler 4

Further the following validations shall be applied on the above fields:

·         For Purchase transactions, member shall require to mention the PG/Bank Reference No., which shall also be populated in the funds collection file to their respective Payment Aggregators.

·         It shall be mandatory for members who avail services of Payment Aggregators for collection of funds from clients / investors to populate PG/Bank Reference No. field and provide the same to the respective Payment Aggregators and the same shall be part of the corresponding funds MIS uploaded by such PAs.

·         Two level validation shall be involved wherein first the PG/Bank Reference No. in the order shall match with the one mentioned in the funds received record/s  and then the bank account details mentioned in the same line item of MIS shall be matched with one of the bank account details in the Client’s UCC.

·         In case either there is a mismatch of PG/Bank Reference No. or the bank account details, then the corresponding transaction shall be rejected with reason as “PG/Bank Reference or Bank Account mismatch” and the funds received for those rejected transactions shall be refunded to the source bank account received in the PA MIS File.

·         For Redemption transactions, members shall enter / select the Bank Account wherein the redemption proceeds are to be given to their respective clients in Bank Account No. field.

·         Members shall ensure that the Bank Account No. entered for redemption shall be one of the bank accounts in the client’s UCC.

·         If the Bank Account No. is not available in the UCC, all such orders shall be rejected with the status as “Bank Account Mismatch”.

All Mutual Fund Intermediaries (MFIs)/Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs) using third party vendor solutions and/or in-house developed trading application are hereby requested to take note of the above and arrange to initiate necessary development at their end on a priority.

All other validations and process shall remain unchanged.

The effective date of implementation of the revised structures shall be April 1, 2022.
