This is further to notice no. 20210804-2 dated August 04, 2021 in respect of “Enhancement of UCC Registration Structure”
We have received a communication from AMCs that below changes / enhancements are required with respect to AMFI Best Practice Guidelines Circular No.97 /2021-22 issued on 28th March 2022 outlining the standardization of process for validation of Email Id and Mobile Number, as specified in Point 3 in table of SEBI Circular (Attached).
These declaration flags are not mandatory for non-individuals. However, will be mandatory for all Individual investors i.e., with status as Individual, NRIs, Minors etc.
MFIs/MFDs/RIAs are hereby requested to note that UCC structure has been enhanced to include these additional fields in these Modules, viz. Web Portal, Bulk Upload and API. The filler 1 and 2 shall be used for capturing these details :

Existing UCCs :
For existing UCC registered on the platform, an additional upload facility shall be provided in member login.
Bulk Upload Format:

Path: Admin >> Client Details >> Self Declaration Flag Update
This upload facility shall be available for 3 months from the date of going live and be discontinued thereafter.
All members using third party vendor solutions and/or in-house developed trading application are hereby requested to take note of the above and arrange to initiate necessary development at their end.
All other validations except for the ones mentioned above will remain unchanged.
