With reference to SEBI circular no. SEBI/HO/DDHS/DDHS_Div1/P/CIR/2022/142 dated October 19, 2022, and BSE notice no 20221031-1, dated October 31, 2022, regarding Request for Quote (RFQ) platform to allow stockbrokers registered under the debt segment of the Stock Exchange(s) to place/seek bids on behalf of client(s), in addition to the existing option of placing bids in a proprietary capacity.
We wish to inform you that BSE RFQ platform will be available to allow client trades from January 1, 2023, to stockbrokers registered under the debt segment of the Stock Exchange(s).
It may also be noted that the stockbrokers quoting on the RFQ platform on behalf of their clients, need to ensure that they have received the appropriate mandate from their clients and record of the same needs to be maintained.
