This is with reference to SEBI circular No.: SEBI/HO/ITD/ITD_VAPT/P/CIR/2023/032 dated February 22, 2023, wherein “The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has prescribed advisory for SEBI Regulated Entities (REs) regarding Cyber Security best practices” and Notice (No. 20230228-11) dated February 28, 2023, published by The Exchange on abovementioned topic.
As per the advisory “Regulated Entities” are required to submit the compliance with prescribed cyber security best practices in format agreed by all exchanges and same is attached as Annexure 1.
The report should be submitted in pdf document format digitally signed by CISO and Compliance Head / Designated Directors of the regulated entities.
Regulated Entities are hereby advised to take a note of the above and submit the compliance along with their cybersecurity audit report. All trading members are advised to submit compliance status to the Exchange latest by September 30, 2023. This compliance report shall be submitted through an email to bse.msc(at)bseindia.com with subject line “Regulated Entities: Cybersecurity best practices Compliance Reporting”
