The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued circular no. SEBI/HO/DDHS-PoD-2/P/CIR/2023/101 dated June 26, 2023, regarding format of Compliance Report on Governance for REITs.
Regulation 26E of SEBI (Real Estate Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014 (“REIT Regulations”) requires as under:
The Manager shall submit a quarterly compliance report on governance in the format as may be specified by the Board, to the recognized stock exchange(s) within twenty-one days from the end of each quarter.
Accordingly, the manager of the REIT shall submit the compliance report on governance in the aforesaid format to the stock exchanges within the timelines as specified.
This circular shall come into force with effect from the financial year 2023-24 onwards. Accordingly, the first reporting shall be made for the quarter ended June 30, 2023.
The aforesaid circular is attached for reference.
All Listed companies are requested to take note and comply accordingly.
