Trading members are requested to refer Exchange notice number 20230704-36 dated July 04,2023 regarding Amalgamation of HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FINANCE CORPORATION LTD (Scrip Code: 500010).
As per the notice, pursuant to the Composite Scheme of Amalgamation between HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FINANCE CORPORATION.LTD (“Transferor Company”) and HDFC BANK LIMITED (“Transferee Company”), as approved by the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench. HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FINANCE CORPORATION LTD, has informed the Record Date fixed to determine the entitlement of shareholders of HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FINANCE CORPORATION LTD to Equity Shares of HDFC BANK LIMITED as July 13,2023.
In view of the above, trading members are requested to note the following for futures and options contracts of HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FINANCE CORPORATION LTD (Derivative asset code and symbol -HDFC) in equity derivatives segment –
· All the existing unexpired futures and options contracts (monthly and weekly) of HDFC will be expired on July 12,2023. However new strikes will be generated in existing contracts if required.
· Next cycle of weekly expiry futures and options contracts of expiry date August 24,2023 will not be generated for HDFC on expiry of weekly derivatives contracts on Thursday July 06,2023.
· No futures and options contracts of HDFC will be available for trading with effect from July 13,2023.
Trading members may note that equity derivatives end of day contract master files on July 12,2023 will not have derivatives contracts of HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FINANCE CORPORATION LTD.
