Sub: Cautionary Messages on Trading Terminal – Update
This is with reference to the Exchange notice no. 20230731-44 dated July 31, 2023, wherein the trading members are required to develop a functionality on their non – BOLT / BOW front end including IBT, STWT, CTCL, etc., whereby any person while placing an order in a security for which cautionary indicators are applicable, gets the following message so that the person placing the order is aware of such alerts on the security before placing the order.
In this regard, Trading Members are required to submit the confirmation of aforesaid system changes at their end and upload relevant screenshots for the same on the e-BOSS (Member Surveillance System) as under:-
· Log in to e-BOSS (Member Surveillance System)
· Go to option “Alerts & Events”
· Select “Member Surveillance Alerts”
· Then select “Regulatory”
· Select Period from 01/09/2023 to 13/09/2023.
· Go to “Alert Type” option.
· Select “Cautionary Messages Compliance” alert type and submit.
· Open the alert.
· Go to Browse files option.
· Upload sample screenshots.
· Go to “New Status” option.
· Select “Verified & Details Sent to Exchange” option.
· Then click on “Save & Upload.”
Exchange shall verify the screenshots and update the status as “Closed” for all the valid relevant screenshots. Trading members are requested to check the status until it is updated as “Closed” by the Exchange.
