Trading members of the Exchange are hereby informed that, pursuant to the Scheme of Amalgamation between TATA STEEL LONG PRODUCTS LTD (“Transferor Company”) and TATA STEEL LTD (“Transferee Company”), as sanctioned by the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal, Cuttack and Mumbai Bench. TATA STEEL LONG PRODUCTS LTD, has fixed Record Date to determine the entitlement of shareholders of the Company to the Equity Shares of TATA STEEL LTD.
Trading Members are advised not to deal in the Equity Shares of TATA STEEL LONG PRODUCTS LTD with effect from the under mentioned date:-

Scheme of Amalgamation: -
Upon the Scheme becoming effective and in consideration of the Amalgamation of TATA STEEL LONG PRODUCTS LTD Into TATA STEEL LTD.
TATA STEEL LTD shall issue and allot Equity Shares to the shareholders of TATA STEEL LONG PRODUCTS LTD in the following share exchange ratio:
“67 (Sixty-seven) Equity Shares of TATA STEEL LTD having a Face Value of Re.1/- each to be issued as Fully Paid-Up, for every 10 (Ten) Fully Paid-Up Equity Shares of Rs.10/- each held by the shareholder of TATA STEEL LONG PRODUCTS LTD (“Share Exchange Ratio”).”
