Further to Exchange circular 20231211-36 dated 11 Dec 2023 on introduction of new UDiFF (Unified Distilled File Formats) file formats made available in Equity - Cash Market (CM), Equity Derivatives (FO), Currency Derivatives (CD) and Commodity Derivatives (COM) for member to download.
Based on feedback received from back-office vendors and members following revisions have been done in the UDiFF catalogue and files being downloaded.
1. Change in ISO Tags for dummy fields provided in Exchange downloaded UDiFF Trade and Bhavcopy File -
Below revised ISO tag shall be provided for Dummy fields in Exchange UDiFF Trade and UDiFF Bhav Copy files.

It is proposed to make aforesaid changes live from Monday 03rd June 2024 end of day in Equity, Equity Derivatives, Currency Derivatives & Commodity Derivatives segments.
2. Splitting of Trade file where record is more than 1 crore -
As mentioned in the UDiFF guidance document, Exchange shall split the Trade file downloaded to member if the count of trade records are more than 1 crore including the header record on that trading day.
Splitting facility shall be applicable to all members and shall not be a member specific facility. Kindly refer Annexure D for detail mechanism of splitting, nomenclature of split file & sample trigger file.
It is proposed to make aforesaid changes live from Monday 08th July 2024 end of day in Equity, Equity Derivatives, Currency Derivatives & Commodity Derivatives.

As informed via circular 20240429-1 dated 29th April 2024 files in existing & standardized format shall be discontinued from 21st June 2024.
Members are advised to take note of the same and initiate necessary changes in their systems.
