Subject   Release of ETI API version 1.6.10 for Encryption and Activity Timestamp changes

Content

Trading members kindly note that the Exchange has already released the encryption related changes through a separate document and changes are rolled out in the production from 8th June 2024 onwards vide notice number 20240527-3 dated 27th May 20024. The changes published in separate document are now incorporated in the ETI API version 1.6.10

Additionally, a change has been introduced in the API version 1.6.10 where the field Activity Timestamp (30645) will be no more validated in cancel order request sent by member application. The field is made filler, and it need not be set explicitly in cancel order request.

The change is optional and member application not making changes in their application can continue to use the field activity Timestamp as currently done i.e. the member application can continue to populate the field activity timestamp (filler) but the exchange will not validate the field in the cancel order request sent by member application.

Further the datatype of the field FillExecID (1363) is changed from signed int to unsigned int in various messages. This is done to incorporate larger values in the field.

The ETI API version 1.6.10 is made available on URL - www.bseindia.com/nta.aspx

The above changes are already made available for testing in the simulation (test) market, and it will be made live from Monday 1st July 2024 in Equity Derivatives , Currency Derivatives and Commodities Derivatives segments and from Monday 8th July 2024 onwards in Equity segment.
