Trading members are requested to refer to Exchange notice number 20240430-50 dated April 30,2024 regarding Change in Expiry Day of Single Stock Derivatives in equity derivatives segment from last Thursday of the calendar month to 2nd Thursday of the calendar month with effect from July 01,2024.
Further to aforementioned notice, trading members are requested to note the following clarification –
· All the existing monthly contracts of Stock Derivatives in equity derivatives segment with expiry day as Last Thursday of the Calendar Month (if Thursday is holiday then immediate previous working day) will get discontinued* on June 28, 2024 end of day and will not be part of contract master file at end of day of June 28, 2024. These contracts will not be available for trading from Monday, July 01, 2024.
· New 3 serial monthly contracts of Stock Derivatives with monthly expiry day as 2nd Thursday of the Calendar Month (if Thursday is holiday then immediate previous working day) will be generated on June 28, 2024 end of day in equity derivatives segment for trading with effect from July 01, 2024.
There is no change in expiry day of any other contracts of Equity Derivatives Segment.
*Contracts which are exclusively available on BSE shall be discontinued/expired, however the Contracts which are common among Exchanges, only BSE contracts shall be discontinued on June 28,2024
