The Exchange vide its notice no. 20170210-16 dated Feb 10, 2017, 20190424-35 dated April 24, 2019 and 20200528-32 dated 28 May 2020, 20201102-43 dated Nov 02, 2020 and 20210825-62 dated Aug 25,2021 has issued Revised Guidelines of Mechanism for acquisition of shares through Stock Exchange pursuant to Tender-Offers under Takeovers, Buy Back and Delisting.
All Market Participants are hereby informed that TRANSPORT CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED (“The Company”) has announced an Offer to Buyback not exceeding 13,33,333 (THIRTEEN LAKH THIRTY THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND THIRTY THREE ONLY) fully paid-up equity shares of the company of the face value of Rs.2/- (Indian Rupees Two Only) each, from all eligible shareholders (Equity Shareholders As On The Record Date, Being Wednesday, September 04, 2024) on a proportionate basis, through the ‘Tender Offer’ process, at a price of Rs.1200/- (Indian Rupees One Thousand Two Hundred Only) per equity share, payable in cash, for an aggregate maximum amount not exceeding Rs 160,00,00,000/ (Indian Rupees One Hundred & Sixty Crores Only) excluding the transaction costs, from Tuesday , September 10, 2024, to Tuesday, September 17, 2024 (Excluding September 16, 2024 due to SEBI holiday).
