This is in continuation of our earlier Notice No. : 20101014-8 dated 14th October, regarding launch of Call Auction Trading Mechanism in the pre-open session in the Equity segment on Monday, 18th October, 2010. For this, a mock trading session is scheduled on Saturday, 16th October, 2010. Given below are the details of the mock trading session.
For members to take maximum advantage we have scheduled 3 rounds of call auction mock trading – the 1st round will have an extended order entry period (30 minutes) whereas 2nd & 3rd rounds will simulate actual pre-open session timings which will be effective from 18th October, 2010 onwards.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO NEW RELEASE OF BOLT TWS or IML FOR GO-LIVE OF PRE-OPENING CALL AUCTION ON 18TH OCTOBER, 2010.
WE REQUEST ALL TRADING MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS MOCK TRADING SESSION, SO AS TO TAKE MAXIMUM ADVANTAGE OF PRE-OPENING CALL AUCTION GOING LIVE FROM MONDAY, 18TH OCTOBER, 2010.
For all IML users:
Trading members / IML vendors / Trading members using in-house developed software are also requested to note the above and ensure that they have made necessary changes in their software to get ready for trading in Pre-Opening Call Auction.
Scripmaster for mock trading on 16th October and for live trading on 18th October, 2010:
All the Trading members / IML Vendors / In-House Developers are requested to note that scripmaster will be made available on Saturday, 16th October, 2010 from 8.00 a.m. onwards. The scripmaster will be available as per existing practice, i.e. in DLOAD and BSE website. Please note that the scripmaster version of Saturday, October 16, 2010, will be final version and can be used for trading on Monday, October 18, 2010. All are requested to download the scripmaster, afresh on morning of 16th October, 2010.

Note: After end of one round of mock session and before start of another round, users may face disconnection and may have to re-log in. It is advisable that Trading members log-off / log-on again and opt for Full Trade download option available in the log-in screen. This is only suggested for this mock session, so as to ensure no old data of earlier mock is carried forward to next mock session.
Viewing of Call Auction information
In the BOLT TWS, trading members can view the order and trade information as mentioned below:
a) During Order entry session
- All orders submitted can be seen in the Pending order window.
b) During matching and receipt of trade confirmation
- Orders that are executed as Trades, can be seen in the Sauda Window as well as in Fully Executed orders
Any partial executed orders can be seen in the Pending order window
FEEDBACK OF MOCK TRADING SESSION:
To be able to provide our members with a robust & efficient system for trading with better features, feedback from all members is very critical. We request all members to give their feed back to BSE Helpdesk team by 12.30 p.m. on Saturday, 16th October, 2010 for the first 2 rounds and by 2.00 p.m. for 3rd round of mock trading session.
