In continuation of SEBI circulars dated Aug 27 2010 (http://www.sebi.gov.in/circulars/2010/cirmrd26.pdf) ) and Dec 9 2010 (http://www.sebi.gov.in/circulars/2010/cirmrddp36.pdf ); SEBI has further clarified regarding the appointment of auditors.

Only one SOR systems audit would be required for using Smart Order Routing (SOR) at multiple exchanges. The system audit must be done by any one of the following auditors. The SOR audit certificate issued by any of the following auditors would hold good for applying for SOR approval to multiple exchanges.

Members are required to submit the original copy of the audit report of the system audit conducted of their software and systems proposed for SOR to the Exchange along with the application(http://www.bseindia.com/sensex/sor.aspx) for SOR facility.

The system audit charges should be negotiated and paid directly by the member to the system auditors. This circular over-rides earlier BSE SOR circular no. 20100929-13 dated 29^th September 2010.
