BSE IPF and CDSL IPF organize Mega Investor Awareness Program in Indore 

Indore, October 5, 2024: BSE IPF and CDSL IPF in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), and other Market Infrastructure Institutions today held a Mega Investor Awareness Program in Indore. The awareness initiative themed “Shiksit se Viksit” conducted through the investor protection fund (IPF) trust, was aimed at empowering investors through education and awareness.

The event featured panel discussions and presentations by eminent personalities from the capital markets. Some key topics included “Building financial confidence by becoming an AI – Atmanirbhar Investor”, “Prosperity through Mutual Fund investment”, “Introduction to Commodity Derivatives Market”, “How to protect yourself from cybercrimes and scams”, etc.

The program hosted around 500 delegates including students, general investors, and corporate representatives. Shri. Manoj Kumar, Executive Director of SEBI,
Shri Sharad Sharma, CGM SEBI, along with Sushree. Kamala K, Chief Regulatory Officer of BSE, and Shri. Faroukh Patel, Senior Vice President of CDSL graced the occasion and addressed the delegates.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Khushro Bulsara, Head BSE IPF, said that the Mega Investor Awareness Program was a valuable initiative, fostering financial literacy and investment knowledge among general investors, students, and corporate participants. ``We are sure that today’s session would have empowered attendees to make informed financial decisions, promoting safe investment practices and financial growth.”

The Mega Investor Awareness Program focused on enhancing financial literacy and fostering a culture of informed investing among individuals and businesses. Participants were provided valuable insights and tools to navigate the nuances of the financial landscape effectively.
