| Exchange Received Time 12/04/2018 18:08:51 Exchange Disseminated Time 12/04/2018 18:08:55 Time Taken 00:00:04 | In continuation to our letter dated Mar 23, 2018 on the captioned subject, the Hon'ble Delhi High Court heard the writ petitions for seeking extension of stay of demand for Assessment Years 2007-08, 2008-09, 2012-13, 2013-14 and Assessment Years 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2014-15 and was pleased to grant stay against the order of Principal Commissioner of Income Tax for AY 2007-08, 2008-09, 2012-13 , 2013-14 till July 23, 2018 and issued notice to Income Tax Department to file counter affidavit. Additionally, the Hon''ble Court also asked the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) to pass the orders in pending appeals at the earliest.
Further, the Court directed the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax to dispose off the pending stay application for AYs 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2014-15.
However, the information is being disclosed as a good corporate governance practice.
